I thought today’s post over…and ladies and gents, your girl is BEAT. Last weeks CMJ Marathon did me in. My knee went out, my back is out of sorts and all of those movements enervated me beyond belief. From catching a few shows, to hitting two shows, back to back, twice in one week – DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. Seriously, my old ass should know better…lol  I truly believe that Friday’s Bobby Brown show (that was INSANE!! He rocked it!) and then The Foreign Exchange show (mad CRAZY with serious vibes!) both did me in, in the worst way.  They basically sealed my fate, but I refuse to complain!  It was an AMAZINGLY musical night.  So trust when I say I will not be taking in or covering any shows this week (okay, except my baby Brian McKnight at Hiro Ballroom tonight).  But I really don’t have the energy to post everything this week. I hope y’all have your tix for MJ’s This Is It, opening on Thursday for its 2 week stint.  I will be heading to catch it on Tuesday night. You know I will have something to say eventually.

With that said, I am just going to share a few vids with you. The Foreign Exchange is a group of MAD talented artists, you know this already.  And if you don’t know how I feel about them as yet, dig in the crates for past posts!  This reggae tribute was insanely comical and PRECIOUS!

Bobby Brown sweat, jumped around and sang his ass off on Friday night. Have to give it to him, it looks like he’s making his way back. Let’s hope he stays on track. Here’s “Humping Around”:

And I thought I would end the post on a comical note. I had the pleasure of unwinding with The Foreign Exchange after the show and was privy to their off stage shenanigans. Man, they are too much fun! Here’s a clip of Yahzarah doing her own personal rendition of “Ave Maria”…lol
