And it’s Friday.
The week started off on the right foot and I tried to keep the momentum going, but no can do. *sigh* So here’s a great way to get out my frustrations, by picking a song that gets to the fiber of my being, that conjures up thoughts of little munchkins plucking my locs out one by one. You get the idea. The theme for Old School Friday this week is: Songs I Detest, But Know All The Words.
First up – I STILL can’t believe I used to know the words to this song. I am eternally grateful for selective memory:
Next up – I know I might get screamed at for this one. And I am breaking the rules on this one, since it was released in 2003. Sorry ladies! But this song, to this DAY, makes me freeze in my spot anytime I hear it. I was always the only one in a club not moving:
And lastly, I was working at HMV when this song came out. It was sheer and utter torture. But you know what happens when you have a song slapping the back of your psyche every.single.day!:
